The biggest learning from this video is that the mutual funds which were performing well 2 years ago are not in the top category today. The performance spectrum of mutual funds always keeps changing, and new funds keep coming into the market.
Large Cap Funds
First of all, talking about large-cap mutual funds, Bandhun Large Cap Fund has given a return of about 48% in the last 1 year. Its assets under management is 1700 crores, and it is investing in financial technology, consumer staples, and the service sector. If you had done SIP in this fund, then a monthly investment of 10,000 would have given you a return of about 1 lakh in a year.
At number two is White Oak Capital’s Large Cap Fund, which has given a return of about 46%. This fund has mainly invested in the financial services and technology sector.
Mid Cap Funds
Now let’s talk about mid-cap funds. Motilal Oswal Midcap Fund has given great returns in the last one year. If you had invested 10 lakhs in a 10-year SIP, it would have become 50 lakhs.
Investco India Midcap Fund has also performed well. It has given a return of 62% in a year.
Small Cap Funds

Motilal Oswal’s fund tops the list of Large and Mid-Cap Funds, which has given a return of 63%.
Flexi Cap Funds
In Flexi Cap, Motilal Oswal Flexi Cap Fund is again the top fund, which gave a return of 65% last year.

You mustn’t make investment decisions by looking at the returns of only one year. There is a need to look at consistent performance. If a mutual fund has been performing well for 5-10 years, then it may be a better option.
